What stays on your device

Held in your browser’s own storage on the machine you are using. It is not synchronised, not backed up by us, and not visible to Techvora.

• Your audio files, exactly as you imported them
• Waveform analysis of those files
• The cue list you are editing, and its autosave history
• Cue names, operator notes and Cue Cart labels while you work
• Your chosen audio output device and other per-machine preferences
• The optional local show run log

Because it lives in your browser, clearing site data for this domain will remove it. Export a .stagemix package before you do that if you want to keep a show.

What we store in the cloud

Held in a Techvora-operated PostgreSQL database, in an isolated schema reachable only by StageMix’s own restricted database role.

• Your account: email address, name, a bcrypt hash of your password, and your plan
• Sessions: a keyed hash of the session token, its expiry, a truncated browser string and a pseudonym derived from your IP address
• A show's title, production, venue, date and description
• The cue list itself, as a document, when you leave cloud backup switched on for that show
• What audio a show expects: file name, length, size and a content hash — never the audio
• Messages you send through the contact or feedback form
• Account security events: sign-ins, password changes, shows created or deleted

Cloud backup is per-show and can be switched off. With it off, the cloud keeps the show’s title so you can still see it listed, and nothing about its contents.

What we never collect

• Your audio. No StageMix server ever receives an audio file.
• Any analytics event containing a show title, cue name, file name or operator note.
• A record of your performance. Pressing GO is not reported anywhere.
• Your IP address in plain form. Only a keyed pseudonym is stored, and it cannot be reversed.

Administrator access

A Techvora administrator can see accounts, plans and the volume of shows in the system. They cannot read your cue lists, your cue names, your operator notes or your file names. That is enforced in the database itself: the administration screens have no route to those rows, and the only function the admin surface can call about shows returns counts and byte totals.

Analytics

StageMix does not run third-party analytics or advertising scripts, and sets no tracking cookies. The only cookie it sets is stagemix_session, which keeps you signed in. It is HTTP-only, same-site and, in production, secure.

Deleting your data

Deleting a show removes its cloud record, its document, its versions and its asset list. You choose separately whether to remove the audio StageMix is holding in your browser. Neither action touches the original files on your computer — StageMix has never modified them and does not delete them.

Deleting your account removes your account record, sessions, settings, shows, documents and versions. Contact us to request it.
